Die Lampara

Fishing with the "Lampara" is an old fishing method practised with one or more rowing boats.

A lamp "Lampara" is fastened to the stern of the boat. The light attracts the fish with is caught in nets. It is a special net with narrow meshes and iron rings to pull it together in the depth.

"Like in former times" the fishermen work all their own and by hand so that any noise can be avoided and the bottom of the sea is not damaged.
The work is rewarded with a happy supper on the beach, consisting of bread, the caught fish and naturally a good wine.
Normally you start at 20,00 h and come back in the night at approx. 1,30 h.
Min. 6 persons, 25,00 Euro per person.
