South of Rome this partial still unknown
region begins. Discover the attraction of Southern Italy, where the real Mozzarella
cheese is made of buffalo milk, the sea isn’t only

The national park Cilento is a still unknown landscape at the Thyrrenian Sea, richly at culture and history,
one thinks there of the philosopher's school in
Velia, the towers of Saracens, which lines the coast, the temples of Paestum.
Il parco nationale del Cilento e del Vallo di Diano extends about more than 200,000
ha and permits only a gentle tourism. You will look in vain here for mass tourism, large club
structures etc.. From the middle of September to June you will find nearly deserted beaches, where at the most some
inhabitants enjoy a bath; only in August, if nearly all Italy has vacation, this places will be reached
also by the Italian guests. |
