By plane
Never it was as easy as today to reach southern Italiy. Many low budget flights offered by different airlines are going to Bari, Brindisi, Foggia and Taranto. 
Bari and Brindisi are the airports in Apulia. It is also possible to fly to Naples and to go to Apulia by car.
(Route Napels - Bari - ca. 3 hours).

By train
